Terrestrial Resources Technical Working Group Meeting Materials
The Terrestrial Resources Technical Working Group (Terrestrial TWG) is one of five Technical Working Groups established by PCWA in June 2006. The Terrestrial TWG has met regularly throughout the relicensing process. Initially, the meetings focused on developing a common understanding of the Project facilities and operations and identifying potential resource issues. Later, the meetings focused on developing draft Technical Study Plans (TSPs) designed to address specific terrestrial resource issues. Together, the Terrestrial TWG participants developed six draft TSPs, all of which were approved by the Plenary and included in PCWA’s Pre-Application Document (PAD). The terrestrial studies are currently in progress and the terrestrial TWG continues to meet regularly to discuss study progress and results. Eventually, the Terrestrial TWG members will utilize the study results and conclusions to help formulate potential protection, mitigation, and enhancement measures.
