Aquatic Resources Technical Working Group Meeting Materials
The Aquatic Resources Technical Working Group (Aquatic TWG) is one of five Technical Working Groups established by PCWA in June 2006. The Aquatic TWG has met regularly throughout the relicensing process. Initially, the meetings focused on developing a common understanding of the Project facilities and operations and identifying potential resource issues. Later, the meetings focused on developing draft Technical Study Plans (TSPs) designed to address specific recreation issues. Together, the Aquatic TWG participants developed twelve draft TSPs, all of which were approved by the Plenary and included in PCWA’s Pre-Application Document (PAD). The aquatic studies are currently in progress and the Aquatic TWG continues to meet regularly to discuss study progress and results. Eventually, the Aquatic TWG members will utilize the study results and conclusions to help formulate potential protection, mitigation, and enhancement measures related to aquatic resources.
