Cultural Resources
As with any relicensing project in the United States today, technical studies must be conducted that provide the information needed to develop license conditions that reasonably balance environmental and developmental values. In 2005 and 2006, PCWA gathered information on various resources within the vicinity of the MFP. The results of these “early information gathering” study plans and reports were used as the basis for the Existing Resources Information Report, which was included as Supporting Document F in the Pre-Application Document (PAD). This early study information was used to identify data gaps, which resulted in additional study plans (also included in the PAD). PCWA began implementing these PAD Technical Study Plans in May 2007. The information gathered during the PAD studies can be found in the PAD Technical Study Reports. Information sharing and discussions related to project resources occur at meetings of the Technical Working Groups (TWGs). In the list of links below, only portions of the study plans and reports that are relevant to Cultural Resources are provided.
